Field scenario: From the cab the job looks finished. From the driveway you can see missed strips, a rough pile of stems, and one ugly tall stump line.
Why this matters
The customer rarely judges production difficulty; they judge what they see from the driveway, porch, and photos.
Pass standard
The finished area matches the sold scope and looks intentional from the customer’s view.
- Match the finish to the sold scope: rough access, pasture reclaim, trail, view clearing, fence line, or clean residential finish.
- Check the work from the customer’s viewpoint, not just the operator seat.
- Fix obvious missed strips, tall stems, debris piles, and customer-facing rough edges before you call it done.
- Photo-document the final result from the same angles used in the quote or before photos whenever possible.
